Hi I'm Jo founder of Getonyourmat - Live Vibrantly! I've been practising Yoga for 26 years and teaching for 10 years. My journey with yoga started out using it to relieve stress but I soon learnt a regular practice actually helped prevent stress and to deal with all fo life's challenge's in a much healthier way for mind, body and in turn soul. During the classes we will explore real yoga, pranayama (breathwork) and how it can help ease the mind. Weaving in some yogic philosophy so we understand and honour the roots of where the practice comes from, use the physical practice of asana to build body awareness, strength & stamina with warm up exercises, Sun Salutations and postures, then finish the class with relaxation techniques such as yoga nidra or a guided visualisation. Steve will guide you through a Qi Gong standing sequence of beautiful calming movements then bring you to the seated practice of Yin Yoga = bliss! I will guide you to explore the power of breath. As I know we are all feeling a little anxious & exhausted exploring our way out (hopefully) from lockdown3, we will use my favourite go to & truly transformative breathwork practice which will bring us all back home to a place of calm and safety. Finally, I’ll take you into super luxe relaxation using restorative yoga focussing the mind on letting go of all the week’s “stuff” leaving you truly relaxed, restored & transformed. Wellness Day Retreat

I'm excited to share "Living in Balance" day retreat at the beautiful Henley Yoga Studio. Sunday 25 September 10am - 4pm - Investment £120 per person We've two special guests joining us on the day and we will take you on a personal guided tour through our favourite go to practices of Hatha Yoga, Qi Gong, Pranayama with Meditation and Yin & Restorative Yoga, all of which will enhance clear thinking, well-being and deep healing for mind, body & soul. Steve, owner of The Henley Yoga Studio will deliver a beautiful moving meditation with Qi Gong and Yin yoga showing how these two ancient practices blend beautifully to calm and re-energise the body. To keep our energy vibrant, Jen Roach aka Fearless in the Kitchen has devised a nutrient packed day of delicious food including her infamous cake, so we'll be radiating health long after the day is through. I will guide you through a mindful & soothing hatha flow & Restorative Yoga practice with pranayama & meditation. Sunday Glow With Jo

Join me on the mat for 90minutes of uplifting and blissful "YOU TIME" Expect grounding breathwork to stay centred through your practice coupled with nourishing flowing movement to prepare you for a deep guided relaxation. Boost your mind, body and soul - sign up for just £18 and start your Sunday right. This practice is open to all abilities - beginners welcome and pre/post natal variations can be given Yoga mats and props are available at the studio but not blankets so please bring your own for a cosy final relaxation. Please note there is a 48hour cancellation policy whereby if less than 48hours notice is given or no show to class a full session fee will be charged.

Summer Solstice Mini Retreat

Whilst Steve will guide you in a beautiful Qi Gong practice, known as a moving meditation, coordinating slow-flowing grounding movement with mindful breath, allowing you to find a place of peace and calm followed by Yin Yoga to lead you into a deeper place of relaxation to restore and transform mind body and soul.
